The University of Glamorgan is a premier Welsh university with three campuses and over 20,000 students. Its business incubator, GTi, provides a professional office environment and links to business support in Wales, as well as in-house seminars on business issues.
GTi started in 1999 as the ‘Graduate Teleworking initiative’, with the help of funding from the European Union, the Welsh government, and the private sector. Its aim is to support student and graduate entrepreneurs to develop viable businesses in support of the Welsh economy.
GTi has helped dozens of businesses to start over the years, including IT solutions firms TiGra Networks and Team Metalogic and internet and marketing applications company ComGem.
