Strathclyde University Incubator is located in Glasgow, Scotland's most populous city, near its affiliate university.
The University of Strathclyde, with an enrollment of 26,000, received a charter in 1964 as the UK's first technological university. Its incubator opened their doors in January 1990 as Scotland's first business incubator. Since then, around 125 businesses have grown in its quarters, creating over 500 jobs. Its Gabriel Investments Syndicate provides seed investments in member companies.
The incubator provides office space, support services such as accounting and payroll, legal, intellectual property, and access to local bank and angel networks.
